Winter Exhibition at McLean Project for the Arts

January 15 - February 21, 2009
Opening Reception and Gallery Talk on Thursday, January 15, 7 - 9 pm

Cellular Perspectives:
Paintings by Betsy Stewart and Patrick Craig
Emerson Gallery

Artists who share an interest in creating, examining, and enlarging visual images that reference the biological. Stewart's beautifully rendered abstractions bring to mind the teeming, lively world present in a drop of pond water. Craig's dynamic motion-filled paintings may exist as isolated segments on a microscopic slide of as slices of the cosmos around us.

Comfort Zones: Paintings by Michele Montalbano
Atrium Gallery

Small-scale room-scapes employ unusually dynamic and glowing color interactions to explore patterning and spatial interpretation.

Tom Wagner: Spaces of Places
Ramp Gallery

Using a combination of photography, painting, drawing and computer graphics, Wagner creates works inspired by post-industrial ruins.

Free and open to the public
