The Mid Atlantic Artist Registry... Bringing Regional Art to You!

Looking for an artist to profile? Need some fresh work?  Or maybe you just want to see what's new and exciting in the region? The Mid Atlantic Artist Registry features fellowship winners in all performing, visual and literary disciplines.  Registry artists have been vetted in panel review by their own state agencies - so you can be sure of artistic excellence.  Take a little time to view video by dance, media, music and theatre artists; listen to audio from spoken word, media and music artists; read poetry, prose, plays, and other writings; and view a multitude of visual work samples from some of the finest artists in the mid-Atlantic region. The Registry is fully searchable by name, state or discipline. When you find something you like, contact the artist directly via email.

The Registry also features an exhibition space hosted by guest curators who work with artists' featured in the registry to create several exhibitions per year. The exhibitions feature all genres and are not limited to visual art forms. John Massier, Visual Arts Curator at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center in Buffalo, NY, is the inaugural guest curator.  A technical support section features links to information on subjects such as live/work space for artists, legal issues, and funding opportunities.

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation hopes you will find the Registry a go-to resource for discovering some of the best artists at work in the mid-Atlantic region. Along with an open enrollment process, each panel season brings a new group of artists to the Registry - so be sure to check back often!
