Hillyer Art Space's new member gallery is an exhibition space dedicated to showing the best and brightest in the DC arts community. "nine" will have monthly exhibitions that showcase the work of member artists only. This exciting opportunity will provide member artists the chance to exhibit their work and become a part of Hillyer's artistic community through members-only programming and benefits. There is no fee for proposals.
"Nine" will premier on 9.9.2011. Proposals submitted for the opening show in September will be considered for the gallery's future monthly exhibitions.
Proposals
Artists are invited to submit proposals that outline a month-long project, exhibition, or other activity to take place in the gallery. Applicants are encouraged to make creative use of the space, participate in collaborations, and experiment with media. All media and disciplines are welcome.
